Hi, I have posted here before.  Just not a lot.  I’m a guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist.  And mainly I’m an alt/inventor board junkie. also msc/int. property. "As a bassist and a keyboardist, I don’t see the point. Steve, eh? Think of Geddy Lee.  When he plays keys he typically plays those big chords with his right hand and the bass parts with the left hand on a keyboard, with the bass hanging around his neck.   With this machine all he has to do is flip a switch and play the synth parts using string/fret contact.  The keyboard sends out midi channel 1, with the neck controller on midi channel 2, these are merged on board and are sent out on a single midi jack. "1 Gibson steinberger Spirit Bass + 1 MIDI pickup + 1 Cheapo Casiotone mini keyboard + 2 angle brackets from Home Dept = Same thing for a LOT cheaper." In you find a midi pickup that plays low E on a bass guitar in perfect sync let me know.  I’m in a band with bassist that has the latest Roland system and it won’t.  Plus to add to the tracking problems, you’ll have to hammer the note with sufficent force to produce sufficient amplitude to fire these already iffy systems.

"I think I’d receive the same information with a lot more receptiveness it weren’t put forth as such a blatant sales pitch.  And from someone who’s never stopped in here before…which then made me quite skeptical about the USPTO running contests with the backlog of patent submissions that are awaiting ruling." I didn’t mean it as a sales pitch only a FYI, and if you think that’s lie, it’s OK, I probably would if I were you.  But actually it isn’t. "But I’ll be damned, (surfs to www.uspto.gov) they sure did run a contest…and and I’ll be damned again, there you are Bill, right in there with a listing for The Schizotron(TM):         http://www.inventnow.org/html/finalists.html Kudos." Bill says Thanks.   "Now, if you want to really get our attention, "pics and clips."  It’s all about pics and sound clips round here.  :-)  Show what this bad boy can do." Well the pictures are at the site, we don’t have a mp3 on it yet but will.  The Roland wet fretless from the neck controller coupled with a Rhodes/string patch on the keys is pretty sweet.  I have no idea how to post a sound clip on this board.  Link to a site with an MP3 file? Would that do it. TIA for any input on how to do that.   Thanks for the responses.  The original post was (and still is) to find a player in the central Fla. area to get feed back from, and to let him or her try out the rig. here’s the best photo  http://www.schizotron.com/coming%20soon.htm I’ll work on the mp3, Thanks again.
