Fender Signature Geddy Lee Bass

The Geddy Lee sig bass is an awesome deal. Since it’s produced in Japan, it’s significantly less expensive than an American-made Jazz. It’s got the awesome Leo Quan Badass II bridge, which gives it (IMHO) a great tone with years of sustain. Also, the neck is thinner than a standard Jazz Bass neck — just like Geddy’s. It really plays well. I tried a couple out over the summer when I was on my great bass hunt. If I were in the market for another Jazz, I’d definitely invest in a Geddy signature model. Mike, if I remember correctly, you’re in San Antonio, right? Might be worth a drive up to Austin to do some bass shopping. If you do, let me know and I’ll give you some pointers on the local stores.
