What kind of music?

Question:

I listened to someone’s files of bass playing that was posted yesterday. Can’t remember who it was. All I heard was a great impersonation of a bass guitarist falling down the stairs with the bass plugged in and the amp turned on. All of that pinging, boinging, beerning and popping sounded like it really hurt. When I was learning to play, we called those mistakes. 8>) Actually, it was very good and skillful playing. I’m jealous. The one thing that honestly puzzles me is what type of music would utilize a bass style such as that? Seriously… Ed Cregger

Wasn’t Mars the company that advertised that they love for you to come in and play the merchandise?  No wonder they’re out of business.
